Geodata

Apart from software products, CISS TDI also offer geodata. Currently the following geodata are available - either in original format or in already customised preparation for specific target systems:

• Digital street data CISSMap
• Original data from Tele Atas (MultiNet) or NAVTEQ

Digital street data are gaining increasing importance in the fields of GIS, traffic and transport, geo marketing and cartography. Possible areas of application are, for example:

• environment planning
• road and traffic management
• transport and fleet management
• telematics
• location analyses

Digital street data can be applied in most diverse fields and in a way tailored to suit the needs of each user. Digital street data contain detailed information concerning street courses, infrastructure and the affiliation of polygons, up to house number areas. Depending on the product version, the digital street data from Tele Atlas are available as data suited for navigation, for the purpose of routing.

Digital street data are available for the whole of Europe and in a standardized format. They can be obtained for small areas (e.g. a municipality) or for larger areas, such as the entire Federal Republic of Germany.
