BVG - Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe

The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) uses the Tele Atlas product MultiNet for several years. These digital street data are particularly created for purposes of the traffic management and the traffic telematics. The BVG uses the native GDF data from the region Berlin and neighborhood in the computer-supported operating control systems (RBL) of bus and streetcar for the purpose of vehicle tracking.

In addition, CISS TDI makes the data available in the MapInfo TAB-format according to a given configuration. These data are used by the BVG in an intranet-based GIS solution as topographic background information.
